My name is Tirsa Baker and I am an Arizona native. I have an incredible husband and two wonderful boys. After graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Human Biology from Grand Canyon University, I attended graduate school at A.T. Still University where I earned a Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
I have been practicing pediatric physical therapy for the past 19 years. Since 2007, I have been providing in-home physical therapy services for the Mesa, Gilbert, and Queen Creek areas.
I have completed 100+ hours of lacatation based course work. This has earned me to be recognized as a Certified Breastfeeding Specialist (CBS).
I have specialty training in Tethered Oral tissues (TOTS). As a physical therapist specially trained in tongue and lip tie, I provide support through oral motor development, suck training, and latch pre and post-release. My specialty is working with infants as early as day one of life all the way through their first year!
I also have close to two decades of experience working with complex medical needs such as infants and children with developmental delay, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Duchenne's Muscular Dystrophy, Torticollis, neurodevelopmental disorders.
My passion is to help children grow to their full potential. I love working alongside parents and families in a collaborative effort to help their babies.
My job is to love others and help babies thrive!
